Webinar Series: Recent Advances in Automotive Simulation

Automakers and suppliers around the world are increasingly relying on ANSYS for single and multiphysics simulation solutions at component as well as system level. Simulations range from aerodynamics, underhood thermal management, IC engine, transmission, brakes and chassis components, to the entire electric powertrain including battery, traction motor and power electronics. In this webinar series, ANSYS will share the latest advances in automotive-specific simulation solutions that allow auto companies to thoroughly explore numerous design alternatives under varied, real-life load conditions early in the design cycle.
Total Brake System Design, Instability/Noise Prediction
Abstract:
Automotive and aerospace braking systems can generate several kinds of noises, and many engineering approaches have been implemented to attack the problem. In this webinar, ANSYS will show three different methods to perform a brake squeal analysis. These three methodologies can be executed in a parametric and persistent environment called ANSYS Workbench. A parametric workflow, from CAD model to CAE solution, is in turn the path to parametric design optimization.
